Vodafone, lifecell and Kyivstar Subscribers Told How to Remove the 'E' Symbol from Your Smartphone Screen.

In Ukraine, the EDGE mobile communication standard is gaining popularity again
In mobile networks of Ukraine, there is a trend of returning to the intermediate EDGE mobile communication standard, which is located between the outdated 2G and the more modern 3G standards. The maximum data transfer speed of the EDGE standard is up to 384 kbps, which is sufficient for text messages, but not enough for video streaming or downloading large files.
The appearance of the letter 'E' on the smartphone screen can be caused by various factors. For example, this may happen outside populated areas where coverage from more modern networks is not available. Other possible reasons include power outages and reduced load on base stations.
The 'E' symbol primarily appears in weak signal areas: basements, elevators, dense forests, mountainous terrain. In densely populated areas, the cause may be a high concentration of users of the same operator, especially in remote villages and steppes.
Experts recommend several methods to improve mobile communication quality. For example, you can restart mobile internet through airplane mode, change network type settings, or manually select a network operator.
It is worth noting that the appearance of the letter 'E' does not always indicate technical problems with the device. More often, it reflects the features of the mobile communication infrastructure in a specific area or temporary technical difficulties.
Also, let's recall how to switch the mobile network if the operator is not working.
