Georgian sports publications reported changes in broadcasting amid protests.

Two popular Georgian sports publications made statements about recent events in the country. They reported changes in broadcasting. This was reported by a channel in Georgia.
The television and internet broadcaster Setanta Sports announced that it will temporarily conduct broadcasts without commentators:
As it is psychologically, emotionally, and physically difficult for us to continue commenting and avoid current events. Solidarity to our fellow citizens, friends, and colleagues who sincerely believe and wish for a western future for Georgia!
The sports publication EuropopGe has temporarily suspended its activities.
In light of the processes taking place in our country, it is natural that we cannot operate in the usual mode. We believe that covering sports news in this reality is inadequate and morally and physically impossible. We condemn violence! The future of Georgia is only in Europe!
It is noted that in recent days many business representatives and journalists have demanded an end to violence in Georgia.
As reported, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze stated that Georgia is rejecting negotiations for EU membership until 2028. The Prime Minister emphasized that Georgia does not intend to join the EU 'begging and standing on one leg'. According to him, the country wants to join the bloc 'dignifiedly, with a healthy democratic system and a strong economy'. This led to protests being sparked anew.
An unknown masked group also attacked the TV Pirveli film crew just a few dozen meters from Rustaveli Avenue. Footage of the attack made it to the live broadcast: the operator was hit in the head, and there was physical violence against journalist Maka Chikhladze.
