'We are close': Kellogg identifies the main obstacle to achieving peace in Ukraine.

US Special Representative on the obstacle to achieving peace in Ukraine
Kit Kellogg, the US Special Representative for Ukraine, stated that the main obstacle to achieving peace in Ukraine is Kremlin dictator and war criminal Vladimir Putin. He emphasized that so far only Ukraine has agreed to the comprehensive ceasefire proposed by the American side.
'They (the Ukrainians – ed.) agreed that a comprehensive ceasefire is needed on land, water, and in the air for 30 days, which can be extended. We returned from London two weeks ago, we communicated with the 'coalition of the determined', led by the British, the French, and the Germans, who are ready for this comprehensive ceasefire with many conditions. And the Ukrainians agree to this.'
Kellogg also expressed confidence that by cooperating and agreeing on conditions with both sides, a ceasefire can be achieved. He noted that although not all conditions suit Ukraine, it is important to find a compromise. The US Special Representative believes that the parties are now close to a possible ceasefire, but the crucial decision will rest with President Trump himself and the agreement with Putin.
It has been reported that President Trump assessed the 'three-day ceasefire' from Putin and hinted that he could influence the Kremlin's position on this issue.
Clarifying the terms for a ceasefire between Ukrainians and Russians once again confirms the importance of a ceasefire and the search for a peaceful resolution to the conflict.
